Welcome to my kitchen, the K kitchen. And today in the K kitchen we will make Bread Pakora. And Bread Pakora is a dish which brings back past memories for everyone Whenever there wasn’t anything available to eat, at home My mother use to make Bread Pakora for us. But she had a special recipe. She did not deep fry but cooked it on a griddle pan And today’s recipe is the same. So, To make the Bread Pakora, we have sliced bread. Fresh and now we’ll prepare its mixture. We will stuff in, Mashed Potatoes. Add-in this, A little Cumin Chopped Ginger Chopped Green Chilli, If you want you can avoid Chilli Just in case you are making it for kids. Chopped Coriander Red Chilli Powder And Salt to taste. Mix this very nicely. The mixture is ready. Now, We will spread this over the bread Nice thick layer from the center till the Edges of the bread Cover this nicely, Alright. This is done. Now on top of this, Put the second slice of bread and gently press it Done. Now repeat with the other one. From the center to the sides. There. The second slice and we’ll press it nicely. We’ll keep these stuffed Bread aside. And we’ll make Gram Flour batter. For the batter, we need Gram Flour We add to it Salt, Carom seeds A little red Chilli powder, chopped Coriander and a little Turmeric, We will add water. Now, There is a simple ratio to make the batter Equal amount of Flour and Water, that is, One cup flour with One cup water. Mix this nicely Now, it’s very simple We have to dip this bread in the batter And cook it on the griddle pan Traditionally we deep fry the Bread Pakora But here, we are making a healthier version So we’ll cook it on a griddle. Put some Oil in it. Griddle is hot, We dip the Bread. Nicely. And Cook it, like this. You may rotate the griddle a little So that the oil reaches all 4 corners. And cook it evenly. Cook it nicely and patiently from the one side for 2-3 minutes Then we flip it. There. Beautiful it looks. Now, just to make sure that it’s well cooked from all 4 sides. That is, the batter on the sides isn’t still raw We’ll use a tong to Cook it nicely from all the sides Just 30 seconds on each side. Look at that, And It’s done Now we’ll repeat the same with the next one. Now we have to flip it. Alright. Now we will keep this aside. Like tea is incomplete without tea leaves This dish is incomplete without Chutney. During my childhood, Amchoor Chutney was made in my school I will make that. First, we need a pan. We need a bowl We take Dry Mango powder in it. Before putting the Dry Mango powder taste it first, that it is sour Many times the Powder which we get from the market is old and its sourness had died, so be very careful. we add in this Sugar In this goes Black Salt. A little red Chilli powder. Now we add roasted Cumin powder Now we add water. It’s a simple ratio, four times water from the amount of dry Mango powder. Mix it well, so that all the lumps in the dry mango powder get mashed. Put this in a pan and cook it. It doesn’t take a lot of time for this Chutney to cook One quick boil, it gets a bit thick and we’ll remove it. You can serve it hot or cold. We’ll prepare for our plating. We have our Bread Pakora We’ll cut it from the center. Let’s just build a tower of Bread Pakora. And now Chutney Chutney is ready We will Fill it in this small bowl, beautiful The Chutney should be of pouring consistency It will thicken when it cools down. Perfect. Our Bread Pakora with Amchoor Chutney is done.
